• $75,000 guaranteed annual compensation: $67,000 base salary plus $8,000 vehicle allowance
• 15% commission on eligible gross profit from sales, subject to the company's commission plan

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to develop commercial relationships, generate new business, and drive profitable sales growth. The successful candidate will receive sales opportunities through FlyLock's established brand, marketing efforts, and existing relationships, while also being expected to independently prospect and develop their own pipeline. You will work alongside our technical and operations teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer requirements. Experience in security or low-voltage technology sales is preferred, but we welcome proven B2B sales professionals from related technical and construction industries. This is a regional sales position covering Greater New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and surrounding areas, with no overnight or out-of-state travel required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new commercial business through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and industry relationships.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, property managers, and commercial decision-makers.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to identify requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to prepare accurate scopes of work, estimates, and proposals.
• Present proposals, negotiate terms, and close profitable contracts.
• Maintain consistent customer follow-up to secure new and repeat business.
• Maintain organized records of sales opportunities, customer communications, follow-up activities, and sales forecasts.
• Meet established sales revenue and gross profit targets.
• Coordinate with project management and installation teams to ensure successful project handoffs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in outside sales or business development.
• Demonstrated history of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets, supported by measurable results.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a sales territory independently.
• Strong organizational skills and experience tracking sales opportunities, customer follow-ups, and pipeline activity.
• Ability to understand technical products and communicate their value to customers.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and site visits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling commercial security, access control, surveillance, or other low-voltage systems.
• Background in structured cabling, networking, electrical contracting, building automation, or related technical industries.
• Established relationships with general contractors, developers, or commercial property managers.
• Familiarity with construction-related sales, project estimating, or commercial bidding processes.
