About the Role

The Company is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership for a nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will be a steady, hands-on executive capable of guiding the finance function through a demanding environment and strengthening reporting, controls, and operational support. Key responsibilities include directing the organization's financial strategy, leading a team across various financial functions, delivering executive-level financial updates, overseeing cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with financial standards. The CFO will also be expected to foster a supportive yet results-oriented leadership approach, particularly in a high-pressure environment. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of senior-level finance leadership experience, with a background in nonprofit financial management and a strong understanding of compliance, reporting, and governance expectations. Expertise in financial systems, particularly NetSuite, is essential, as is a proven ability to present confidently to executive stakeholders and Board members. The role requires a leader with a strong operational awareness, problem-solving ability, and the interpersonal skills to navigate complex organizational challenges. The CFO will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary finance team and managing direct reports across core administrative functions, so experience in this area is also necessary.
