About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its finance function in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the finance function, from the core fundamentals to strategic planning and board reporting. This role is pivotal, as the CFO will be a key partner in the company's journey, particularly in the lead-up to a planned liquidity event. The ideal CFO will have a background in a similar role within a PE-backed B2B SaaS business, with a proven track record of building and leading a finance team, and experience in the sale process or other liquidity events. The CFO will be expected to be a genuine partner, working closely with the founder and the board, and must have the credibility and discipline to deliver for the company's sponsor. The role is not for a gatekeeper but for a proactive leader who can take ownership of the finance function and drive it forward. The position is remote, and the candidate can be based anywhere from the East Coast to Mountain Time. A competitive base, bonus, and real equity upside will be offered to the right candidate.
