About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the company's financial reporting framework, building forecasting tools, and supporting corporate finance initiatives. This role requires a hands-on executive who can strengthen reporting, guide forecasting, and translate financial data into practical business recommendations. The CFO will also be involved in major business decisions, including capital allocation, and will oversee month-end close activities, accounting operations, and core accounting functions. Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least 8 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, and a strong background in monthly financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close. Prior experience in the agriculture or manufacturing industry is essential. The role demands a candidate with a demonstrated ability in financial modeling, variance analysis, and forward-looking business forecasting, as well as experience in overseeing broad accounting functions and intercompany activity. The CFO will be expected to travel within the Midwest up to 10% as business needs require.
