Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diverse ultrasound studies, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, guiding them through each step with patience and clarity
• Partner with radiologists and physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic images quickly and efficiently
• Manage and care for imaging equipment, keeping it in optimal condition and promptly reporting any issues
• Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures and electronic patient records
• Stay updated on the latest ultrasound techniques and industry best practices

Education & Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strongly preferred

Essential Skills

• Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
