Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated team of imaging professionals. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by clearly explaining procedures with empathy and understanding
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Document procedures meticulously while maintaining accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preference for candidates who have completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Strong technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
