Join us!Job Description:Orders and reviews appraisals and evaluations used for commercial real estate lending and provides appraisal and consulting services to all lines of business and transaction-specific professional guidance. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, scoping requests for services, bidding process, award process, managing external suppliers and appraisal review. Additional responsibilities may include client team training; supervisory responsibilities, including management of procurement or review teams; and/or management of external reviewers.Evaluates valuation requests for policy/regulatory compliance:Develops vendor statements of work for each orderSelects prequalified vendors and distributes RFPsExecutes award and monitors vendor performanceReviews reports for contract compliance; grades performancePerforms quality assurance (detailed) reviewsInvoice preprocessing and validation1st -level business and vendor dispute resolution (e.g. vendor selection, utilization frequency, invoicing, etc.)Required Skills:Active State-Certified General Real Estate Appraisal Credential5+ years commercial real estate appraisal experienceIntermediate proficiency in the use of the following software applications: Argus and/or Rockport Val, (cash flow software), Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet).Basic proficiency in other department programs including: Microsoft Word (word processing)An in-depth working knowledge of valuation theory and methodology for commercial and residential appraisalsAble to write concise technical opinions in language comprehensible to expert and layman alikeAble to work independently in a remote settingCommercial appraisal review experience for federally-regulated banking institution or equivalent highly preferredAble to adapt to new technology and changes to recognized valuation methods and techniquesDesired Skills:2+ years commercial appraisal review experience for federally regulated banking institution or equivalentMAI designationBachelor’s degree (financial degree or equivalent)Shift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS - IL - Chicago - 110 N Wacker Dr - Bank Of America Tower Chicago (IL4110)Pay and benefits informationPay range$90,400.00 - $156,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.Discretionary incentive eligibleThis role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
