Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology care in a full-time employed position
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, CardioMEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures
- Work in a newly renovated cath lab with dedicated procedural time
- Participate in a 1:4 call schedule with one night per week and one weekend every four weeks; minimal call-backs and no after-hours STEMI call
- Weekend inpatient rounding on approximately 8-10 patients per day
- Collaborate with 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Invasive Cardiologist, and 2 experienced APPs
- Optional opportunity to perform device and pacemaker implantations (a plus but not required)
- Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the Cardiac Service Line for coordinated, comprehensive patient care
- Participate in program development and community outreach initiatives
- Excellent mentorship available for recent fellowship graduates
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology required
- Active Missouri medical license required (or willingness to obtain)
- DEA certification required
- Completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship required
- Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
- J1 and H1B visa sponsorship available
