Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:


Seeking experienced registered nurses for a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) position. The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.
• Monitor vital signs, medical equipment, and patient progress continuously.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the EMR.
• Educate family members about patient care, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a compact or NJ nursing license valid at the time of submission.
• Hold current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent NICU experience.
• Have prior travel nursing experience (strongly preferred).
• Possess excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Able to work nights every other weekend and holiday shifts.
