Job Summary:
Seeking a GI Lab Tech to support inpatient and outpatient procedures within a busy GI and pulmonary diagnostic environment. The role involves performing interventional and diagnostic procedures to assist physicians and ensure accurate results.
Responsibilities:
- Perform GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures, including ERCP, SPYGLASS, EUS, and navigation bronch procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to prepare patients and troubleshoot equipment during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Operate and maintain specialized GI and pulmonary diagnostic equipment, adhering to protocols.
- Provide support during complex procedures and assist with urgent patient needs.
Qualifications:
- Min of 2 years of experience as a GI Lab Tech or in a similar role.
- Current BLS certification required.
- GTS Certification must be obtained.
- Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient GI and pulmonary diagnostic processes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
