We’re looking to hire a Senior NSX-T & Tanzu Platform SME for a remote Contract Opportunity with our client. We have an immediate requirement for a Senior NSX-T & Tanzu Platform Engineer to support a customer upgrading Tanzu Application Service v6 ? v10, which includes significant impacts to NSX-T, NSX Container Plugin (NCP), and Manager-to-Policy (MP2P) migration. 100% Remote EST This role is for a SME who can make recommendations. This is NOT a FT Contract role, we are looking for a consultant for an as needed basis. Core Requirements 5–7+ years VMware NSX-T (architecture, LB, DFW, tiers, segments). Direct, hands‑on experience with NSX‑T Manager ? Policy (MP2P) migrations. Strong experience with NSX Container Plugin (NCP) in TAS, Kubernetes, TKGI, or OpenShift. Experience integrating Tanzu Application Service (TAS) with NSX‑T (foundations, orgs, ASGs, DFW). Linux networking competency (OVS kernel modules, routes, AppArmor, secure boot issues). Nice to Have Prior work on TAS foundation migrations. Broadcom / VMware partner experience. Experience with multi‑cluster, large‑scale environments. Soft Skills Strong troubleshooting ability using logs, APIs, and NSX/NCP internals. Clear communicator. Able to explain risk, migration plans, and rollback paths. Comfortable in high‑risk production migration environments.
