Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments by performing comprehensive medical history reviews and physical examinations, applying diagnostic evaluations to inform treatment pathways.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in partnership with supervising physicians, ensuring alignment with patient needs and best practice standards.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and other necessary interventions, always under the guidance of attending physicians, while maintaining a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions and available treatment options, promoting preventative care and lifestyle modifications to enhance overall health.
• Accurately document patient encounters and maintain up-to-date medical records, including treatment plans and follow-up care, leveraging electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve caring for a diverse array of patients who arrive at our urgent care center with various acute medical conditions. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant in New York.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 150,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
