About the Position

Job Title: Rapid Response Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 Weeks Shift: 5-7 Days Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Compassion Empathy Description: Rapid response positions available. 6 weeks duration, 48 hours per week. Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC must be included in the submission packet. No requests for time off or special scheduling will be accommodated. Unit Information: 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds available. 77 staff members serve the unit. Staff composition includes both day and night shift personnel. Patient ratios are typically 1:4. Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont rapid infusers, portable EKG machines, with EMR system being Meditech. Typical procedures performed on the unit include NIH assessments, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK, and cardiac monitoring. Ideal candidates should be team players. Every other weekend required.
