Therapy Aide

State of Location: New Jersey

Position Summary: Our Therapy Aides are valued members of our clinic team. They ensure the equipment and clinic remain safe and clean for our patients, provide support to our front office team such as answering phones, collecting copays, checking in patients, and communicating with the patients and their family members. This is a great opportunity for students who are pursuing exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or anyone who loves being in healthcare and helping others.

Job Description: Location: Float coverage between the Americare-Ivy locations: Warren, Mountainside, Garwood and Piscataway; all within 15-20 minutes of each other

Responsibilities: Daily clinic maintenance activities such as laundry, pre/post-treatment cleaning, hydrocollator and freezer temperature checks, and cleaning. Activity setup and cleanup. Gathering modalities for the clinician. Assisting with non-billable and unskilled clinic activities.
