Nanosonics is seeking a People & Culture Generalist. Indianapolis, IN (Onsite) | Supporting Employees Across the U.S. & Canada

Global HQ is located in Macquarie Park, Sydney, where all Research & Development, Manufacturing and Corporate functions reside. The US Corporate HQ is located in Indianapolis, IN.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES & AUTHORITY (INCLUDES DELEGATION):

The People & Culture Generalist is responsible for the execution and administration of core People & Culture programs and processes across the employee lifecycle. This role supports recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, compliance, learning administration, and HR operations, ensuring employees and leaders receive responsive, high-quality support.

The position serves as a trusted partner to employees and managers while contributing to a positive employee experience and a culture of continuous improvement. The role champions operational excellence and identifies opportunities to improve processes, compliance, and employee outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to gain broad People & Culture experience across Nanosonics' North American business, supporting employees and leaders throughout the United States and Canada while serving as a key People & Culture resource for our Indianapolis headquarters.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Lead full-cycle recruitment and hiring activities for hourly positions.
\n
• Support salaried recruitment activities as required.
\n
• Prepare and issue offer letters and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
\n
• Manage onboarding activities, orientation programs, and employee setup processes.
\n
• Ensure compliance with I-9 requirements, HRIS data integrity, and employee documentation.
\n

Employee Relations & Lifecycle Support

\n
• Support managers and employees with day-to-day employee relations matters.
\n
• Assist with investigations, attendance management, conduct discussions, corrective actions, and terminations.
\n
• Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews, identifying themes and opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Support employee lifecycle activities including transfers, promotions, and organizational changes.
\n

Employee Engagement & Culture

\n
• Support the execution of employee engagement, recognition, wellbeing, and culture initiatives.
\n
• Coordinate employee surveys, roundtable discussions, and engagement events.
\n
• Partner with employee committees and leaders to ensure successful execution of programs and activities.
\n
• Help foster a positive and inclusive employee experience.
\n

Compliance & HR Operations

\n
• Maintain employee records and support HR compliance activities.
\n
• Administer required training programs and track completion through the learning management system.
\n
• Support compliance with employment laws, company policies, and mandatory training requirements.
\n
• Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation to ensure organizational compliance.
\n

Learning & Development Support

\n
• Coordinate training logistics, schedules, and communications.
\n
• Support learning and development initiatives through administration and employee participation tracking.
\n
• Assist leaders and employees with training-related questions and system support
\n

Performance Management Support

\n
• Support administration of performance review processes and annual talent programs.
\n
• Assist leaders and employees with process guidance, timelines, training, and system support.
\n
• Help ensure timely completion and a consistent employee experience.
\n

Continuous Improvement

\n
• Identify opportunities to improve employee experience, efficiency, and compliance.
\n
• Recommend and implement process enhancements and operational improvements.
\n
• Embrace organizational change and contribute positively to People & Culture initiatives.
\n

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

\n
• 3-5+ years of Human Resources or People & Culture experience.
\n
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration.
\n
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
\n
• Experience working with HRIS, recruiting, and learning management systems.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service

Pay range and compensation package

Annual salary $103,500

STI 5%
