Submarine Combat Systems EngineerArcfield is seeking a Submarine Combat Systems Engineer, this position is in direct support of future AN/BYG-1 Combat Systems.Perform tasking in support of full spectrum research, development, test and engineering for submarine combat systems and associated payloads.Provide stakeholders with operational impact and perspective on proposed combat system requirements, missions, and CONOPs.Draft whitepapers, system requirements, CONOPs, training guides, and other technical documentation in support of Future Naval Capabilities.Participate in OPEX, Peer Review, COOPEX, and technical demonstration events.Train peers and provide guidance to ensure team knowledge penetration.Interface with fleet operators, Chief Engineers, Technical Project Managers, and Program Office liaisons on project progress and technical direction.QualificationsDeployed FTOW (E-6 or above preferred) experience (SSN, SSGN, or SSBN)Experience with submarine missile and torpedo systems and payloadsEUCOM or INDOPACOM operational experienceExperience in collaborative development environmentPossess and Maintain a Secret level clearanceBS and 5-7 years experience, MS and 3-5 years experience, or PhD and 0-2 years experience. Direct experience will be considered in lieu of degree.Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
