Model-Based Systems EngineerG2 Ops supports mission-critical defense and technology initiatives by solving complex operational and engineering challenges. We are seeking a motivated, collaborative Model-Based Systems Engineer to support PMW 770 Undersea Communications systems, including the ExVLF program environment.In this role, you'll develop Model-Based Systems Engineering products and digital engineering deliverables that support requirements, system design, analysis, verification, validation, interoperability, and acquisition lifecycle decisions.What You'll DoApply Model-Based Systems Engineering methods throughout requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activitiesDevelop and maintain system models, architecture products, diagrams, and digital engineering deliverables for PMW 770 Undersea Communications systemsSupport interoperability analysis to help ensure systems operate effectively across mission and technical environmentsProduce model-derived reports, technical summaries, and decision-support products for program leadership and engineering stakeholdersManage and coordinate model information, resources, and digital-thread objectives across engineering teamsHelp implement and mature a model-based culture using digital enterprise infrastructure and collaborative modeling practicesUse model data to establish and maintain digital-thread connections across systems engineering, cybersecurity, configuration management, software, and integration disciplinesCollaborate with government customers, engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional stakeholders to align MBSE products with program objectivesWhat You'll BringRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, systems engineering, computer science, mathematics, or another STEM field3+ years of relevant Model-Based Systems Engineering, systems engineering, digital engineering, or system architecture experienceExperience applying MBSE principles to requirements, architecture, design, analysis, verification, validation, or acquisition lifecycle activitiesKnowledge of Systems Modeling Language, Unified Modeling Language, systems modeling standards, or related systems engineering lifecycle processesExperience with a collaborative MBSE or digital engineering environment, such as MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect, IBM Rational Rhapsody, System Architect, or a comparable toolAbility to develop clear model artifacts, reports, and decision-support products for technical and non-technical stakeholdersStrong communication, organization, and collaboration skillsAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional, team-oriented environmentActive DoD Secret Clearance at the start of employment and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret ClearancePreferred QualificationsExperience supporting Navy, DoD, or other government programsExperience supporting undersea communications, command-and-control, or complex system-of-systems environmentsFamiliarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework or Unified Architecture Framework practicesExperience developing or supporting digital-thread objectives across multiple engineering disciplinesExperience implementing model-based practices within a digital enterprise environmentFamiliarity with AutoCAD or a comparable drafting toolOMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional, Associate Systems Engineering Professional, or Certified Systems Engineering Professional certificationAdditional ConsiderationsThis is a full-time position supporting mission-focused customer environmentsOutside employment or activities must not create conflicts of interest with company or customer responsibilitiesWhy G2 Ops?
