Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Finance & Planning Manager located in our Dallas, TX office, to report to the VP of Planning & Treasurer. The position will lead planning and finance support for all the company’s assets (both domestic and international), manage and develop a team of analysts, and provide senior management and the Board of Directors with decision-making tools on a regular basis. Responsibilities:The Manager will oversee and refine the company’s three-statement corporate model and lead the team responsible for the following:Assist in month-end forecasting cycles and preparation of monthly financial reporting packages by providing pro forma financial statements, liquidity outlooks, and asset-level free cash flow forecastsRequires regular coordination with domestic and international business units to understand operational assumptions and risk factors (i.e. production data for both producing and incremental program activity, capital plans, operating costs, etc.) Develop long-term financial statements/forecasts on a regular basisPerform financial scenario analyses under various price cases and operational assumptionsModel and analyze the impact to capital structure of contemplated acquisitions, divestitures and/or refinancingsPerform other ad hoc financial analyses for senior management, lenders, and other third-party requestsLead and support company’s commodities risk management and hedging function, partnering with senior management to develop and execute the company’s hedging strategy Requires strong knowledge of commodities markets and hands-on experience structuring and evaluating financial derivatives used to hedge commodity price exposure (i.e. swaps, options, collars) across crude oil, natural gas, and NGLsRequired Skills:Financial modeling expertise (using MS Excel)Microsoft Office applications expertiseStrong working knowledge of Finance and AccountingWorking knowledge of AI tools and applications a plusWorking knowledge of SAP/BPC Financial Planning software a plusWorking knowledge of commodities markets and hedging strategies requiredDemonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a teamWorking knowledge of financial derivatives (swaps, options, collars)Ability to work in an integrated, multi-disciplinary teamStrong presentation and communication skillsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and areas of responsibility concurrentlyDetail-orientedRequired Experience: University degree with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or Energy Management recommended7+ years of relevant professional experience, including team leadership or management responsibilityExtensive financial modeling experience in MS ExcelOil & Gas operational knowledge required; direct commodities market and hedging experience strongly preferredCompany Highlights:For over 87 years, we have nurtured creative ideas and turned them into successful realities using three core strategic pillars – creativity, excellence, and people. 401K – 12% employer contribution with no vesting period (6% Match and 6% non-matching contribution)Highly competitive compensationFive to eight weeks of PTO annually based on years of experience; eleven additional holidays per calendar yearAll Medical/Dental/Vision benefits start day one with the company; low employee premiums Education Assistance ProgramFree covered employee parking for Dallas HQ based employeesFree specialty coffee bar in the Dallas HQCommitment to the following ideals:Work/Life BalanceOngoing professional development opportunitiesAn exceptional employee experienceHunt is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
