This position is entirely remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while delivering therapeutic services via telehealth. Our operational hours are designed to accommodate the needs of our diverse client population, with working hours extending from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma-informed care, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' histories and formulate tailored treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, emphasizing trauma recovery techniques that promote resilience and healing.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate client progress.

• Delivery of individual and group therapy sessions focused on processing trauma and enhancing coping mechanisms.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care that integrates medication management with therapeutic interventions.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive the compassionate care they need.

• Educating clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping techniques, and available support resources.

• Maintaining diligent and accurate documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient tracking.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
