About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Clinical screen required for candidate evaluation One 12-hour call shift per schedule Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed RTO must be finalized at time of submission Max RTO: 7 days per contract Expected to work on major holidays as assigned Description: The position involves working in the Labor and Delivery unit. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The unit typically serves a daily census of approximately 5 patients. Patient ratios are expected to be 2:1 during both days and nights. Interdisciplinary support includes various specialized teams. Candidates should be comfortable with circulating for C-sections. Compliance with onboarding requirements is essential for timely start. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Flexibility for weekend coverage is required. The facility supports diverse patient diagnoses and offers comprehensive care. Must have experience with charting systems relevant to the specialty. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a travel nursing capacity. All requirements must be met to ensure a successful application process.
