Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Salary: $18.70 per hour. Full‑time Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Job Description Advancing Opportunities is seeking caring, compassionate individuals to provide assistance, supervision, guidance, mentoring, and direction to residents at our Toms River area group home supporting men with disabilities. Use your talents to assist and teach our consumers, who have intellectual and physical disabilities, about cooking, housekeeping, recreation, shopping, budgeting, healthy living, hygiene, personal medical care, coping skills, social skills, friendship building, and how to utilize community resources. Make a difference by helping others gain daily living skills, greater independence, and autonomy. Requirements Valid driver’s license. 18 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Consent to state, federal criminal background checks. Drug screen; pre‑employment physical, PPD. Complete all orientation and pre‑service training as required.
