Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our pediatric therapy team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to carry out treatment plans for children with a variety of developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. This role requires creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and families.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Work one-on-one with pediatric patients in clinic and/or school-based settings
• Track and document patient progress; report outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Communicate effectively with caregivers, teachers, and other members of the care team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging therapy environment
• Support children in reaching developmental milestones through therapeutic play and movement

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited PTA program
• Current Florida PTA licensure
• Previous experience with pediatric patients preferred
• CPR certification
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and behavioral needs
• Team-oriented and enthusiastic about pediatric care
