Diesel Mechanic/Technician C

Responsibilities Inspect, repair, and maintain all equipment used to transport and handle freight, including single and tandem axle diesel over-the-road and city tractors, diesel city straight trucks, and propane and diesel-powered industrial forklifts. Track completed and uncompleted work to maintain production and meet service schedule and customer commitments. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or other breakdowns and perform failure analysis on component parts and systems of trucks, tractors, converter gear, and forklifts. Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication, cooling system tests, brake adjustments, and tire inflation. Repair or rebuild all or part of a system of assigned equipment as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid Driver's License. At least 6 months related experience and/or training. Ability to pass background check and alcohol and drug test. Preferred experience: Diesel Engine Repair, Automotive Diagnostics, Automotive Service, ASE Certification, Diesel Engine Certification. Pay: $33.00-$40.45 per hour. Job Type: Full-Time. Work Shift: Third Shift.
