Associate Attorney Bankruptcy

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Las Vegas, NV, to represent institutional mortgage lenders and servicers in bankruptcy matters. The role focuses on protecting and enforcing secured-creditor rights in Chapters 7, 13, and 11, providing comprehensive legal strategies throughout the bankruptcy case lifecycle. Duties Represent creditors in Nevada Bankruptcy Courts. Develop and implement legal strategies for bankruptcy cases. Advise clients on complex bankruptcy and regulatory compliance issues. Manage high case volumes and prioritize tasks effectively. Attend hearings and mediations throughout Nevada. Requirements 2-3 years of experience as an Attorney in Bankruptcy. At least 1 year representing creditors in Nevada Bankruptcy Courts. Active member of the Bar in good standing. Strong communication and writing skills. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and rules. Education Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Bar membership. Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology use. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
