Commercial Framing CarpenterPerform commercial wood and metal stud framing, including walls, partitions, soffits, backing, and blocking.Read and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and layout plans.Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing materials according to project requirements.Perform jobsite layout work, including wall locations, elevations, dimensions, and alignment. Install doors, frames, headers, and related framing components.Assist with drywall installation, demolition, and other commercial carpentry activities as needed.Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment.Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project specifications.Coordinate with project teams to maintain schedules and project progress.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Minimum of 3 years of commercial framing or carpentry experience.Experience with wood and metal stud framing, wall layouts, partitions, backing, and blocking.Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and layout plans.Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and installing framing materials.Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability and willingness to work 95% night shift work, including overnight schedules.Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces.Travel Requirement: This position requires extensive travel and an on-site presence throughout the duration of assigned projects.Podium Finish Carpentry is a commercial construction partner specializing in finish carpentry, drywall, framing, and tenant improvements.
