About the Position

Job Title: RN Centralized Registry Float Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Surg (Medical Surgical) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 pm - 7 am) Experience: Minimum of 2 years, including at least 1 year in a large hospital with 450+ beds License: Indiana license or compact license required Certifications: BLS through AHA required Must-Have: Candidate must have at least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience. Candidate must have at least 1 year of Med Surg experience at a large hospital. Description: This position requires a nurse with a diverse skill set in medical-surgical nursing. Candidates will work with a variety of patients experiencing chronic illnesses such as COPD, diabetes, and CHF. Nurses will manage GI issues, infections, and neurological conditions. Experience with mental health disorders, including depression and anxiety, is essential. Nurses will assist with procedures including colonoscopies and minor surgeries. General duties include assessments, care planning, and interprofessional communication. Proficiency in electronic health records and various medical equipment is required. Patient ratios are expected to be 1:5-6. Candidates will be required to float to other medical units as needed. Weekend shifts will be required, with 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week period. Nurses will undergo Client training and orientation. The dress code consists of Caribbean blue scrubs.
