Basic Job Functions: Perform a variety of HR duties and responsibilities while providing guidance and support to teammates in alignment with the Nucor Way. Serve as a resource for HR-related matters and help ensure a positive teammate's experience.
- Administer payroll and payroll taxes
- Support benefits administration and enrollment activities
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Support FMLA and Leave of Absence (LOA) administration
- Support teammate engagement initiatives and programs
- Assist with HR audits, compliance activities, and reporting requirements
- Support HR projects and other departmental initiatives as needed
- Associate's degree in a related field or a minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws
