Getting them to reliably do work inside the software businesses actually run on is the next frontier.We’re building Systems Integration Agent: computer use for the enterprise. It learns how to operate applications like SAP, Oracle, and Workday, then turns that knowledge into reusable, code-backed actions. The challenge goes beyond making an impressive demo: customers need automation they can trust with consequential business processes.Our team operates as a small startup within Salesforce AI Labs, separate from the main engineering and product organizations. You’ll work directly with the team’s leader and engineers, alongside customers, with the autonomy to shape an early product and the resources of Salesforce to back you up.As Senior Director of Product Management, you’ll help turn early production success into a repeatable product business. This is a hands-on product leadership role that includes spending time with customers, making difficult prioritization decisions, shaping the experience, and carrying those decisions through launch and adoption. You should be as comfortable investigating a failed customer workflow as presenting the product strategy to executive leadership.What You’ll Actually Be DoingBuild Directly With CustomersWork alongside enterprise customers to understand their processes, identify valuable automation opportunities, and define what successful execution actually means.Partner with engineering and forward-deployed engineers to take workflows from initial exploration through production adoption.Distinguish customer-specific requirements from recurring needs that deserve investment in the core product.Establish credible measures of customer value, including time saved, operational cost, reliability, and ongoing maintenance.Own Product Strategy and PrioritizationShape the product vision, roadmap, and sequencing across agent learning, execution, evaluation, governance, and self-service.Decide where to focus first: which customers, systems, and workflows offer the strongest combination of customer value and repeatable adoption.Make explicit tradeoffs between winning a new customer and building capabilities that make the next ten deployments easier.Translate customer requirements and technical constraints into clear product decisions.Make Powerful Technology Usable and TrustworthyPartner with engineering and design to make recording, building, testing, debugging, and operating workflows accessible to the people who own those processes.Define how users understand what an agent can do, verify its results, recover from failures, and retain control over consequential actions.Establish product-level success criteria and release gates grounded in task completion, correctness, intervention rates, and time to value.Build a path from hands-on onboarding toward increasingly self-service adoption.Take the Product to MarketPartner with Salesforce stakeholders across product marketing, sales, pricing, security, and legal to bring the offering to market.Shape positioning, packaging, and the customer journey from first demonstration to evaluation, purchase, and production use.Build a growth strategy that connects enterprise buying decisions with hands-on technical validation and practitioner credibility.Keep leadership aligned on the investment needed, the evidence behind the strategy, and the decisions that will determine what happens next.You’re Our Person If…You’ve taken an enterprise software product from ambiguity into production adoption. You can engage deeply with engineers on agent behavior, APIs, workflow state, permissions, and failure recovery without needing to be the implementation owner.You build directly with customers. You can move between a CIO’s business objectives and a process owner’s daily work, turning both into focused product decisions.You demonstrate senior product judgment. You’ve owned consequential roadmap and investment tradeoffs, aligned teams without relying on reporting lines, and stayed accountable for outcomes.You want to remain hands-on.
