Surestaff is immediately hiring a Bilingual Line Lead for a client in McCook, IL. The Bilingual Line Lead would work directly with Plant leadership to oversee day-to-day operations for a specific area of production. Surestaff is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $17.00/HR. Depending on experience as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include:

2nd Shift: 3-11pm

Job responsibilities of the Bilingual Line Lead:

• Supervise a team of production workers and master the proper procedures for workers to follow
• Ensure that workers use tools and equipment properly and safely.
• Communicate with the team adherence to the production and quality goals throughout the shift
• Provide positive reinforcement and promote employee creativity, safety and problem solving
• Monitor hourly and daily production goals to ensure the team is meeting and exceeding production standards
• Line lead should be able to work the flexible schedule including the ability to work on multiple production lines.
• Accurately report all jobs and reconciliations within the Pack Manager/ Nulogy system
• Execute real time scanning to ensure proper reporting
• Ability to notify other departments for assistance in proper timing
• Train new employees on all aspects of production (i.e. quality, maintenance, safety, efficiency, etc.)
• Able to perform and coach on all different tasks associated with Manufacturing Procedures
• Train and reinforce all employees to learn and follow all quality and safety standards
• Work with all support teams to ensure best quality and efficiency of the production line
• Instruct your production team on proper emergency evacuation plan
• Ensure all team members follow and are in accordance with provided recommended PPE
• Investigate and report all incidents (i.e. spills, accidents, poor performance, etc.)

Job qualifications of the Bilingual Line Lead:

• Be able to complete LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) training prior to be trained on the production lines.
• Be proficient in writing and speaking in English AND Spanish
