Full Steam Staffing is hiring Lift Truck Operators in Gilroy, CA!

Location: Gilroy, CA

Pay Rate: $236.00 per hour (After successful completion of a 30-calendar-day probationary period)

Benefits: Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, AD&D Insurance

Schedule Details: This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week . Candidates must be flexible to work any shift, including overtime as needed.

Available Shifts:

• Shift A: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Shift B: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Shift C: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Lift Truck Operators to join our team in Gilroy, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for recovering salvage material from production dryers, transferring materials from drums to totes, operating a propane-powered forklift, and utilizing handheld scanners to maintain inventory accuracy. Essential Responsibilities

• Operate a propane-powered lift truck (forklift) safely and efficiently.
• Obtain company forklift certification.
• Recover salvage materials from dryers and transfer materials from drums to totes.
• Use handheld scanners to print labels and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Perform inventory control and material management tasks.
• Assist with dryer subfloor cleaning when needed.
• Communicate effectively using a two-way radio.
• Follow all company safety procedures and GMP standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass a forklift skills assessment.
• Ability to read, understand, and complete required documentation.
• Basic math skills for inventory and production tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, remove and install guards and doors, and work in confined spaces when required.
• Comfortable working in a loud, dusty manufacturing environment.
• Ability to conduct workplace safety inspections.
• Strong attendance, safety, and work performance record.
• Willingness to work any shift, overtime, weekends, and year-round.
• Previous forklift experience is preferred but not required —training and certification will be provided for qualified candidates.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry materials.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required throughout the shift.
• Work safely in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions.
