Lead UX Researcher
$135k - $165kCox Automotive seeks a Lead UX Researcher to guide product decisions for digital experiences used by dealers and consumers worldwide. You will own research strategy across Cox Automotive brands, designing and running interviews, usability tests, surveys, and field studies to uncover user needs in automotive retail and mobility. You'll translate insights into clear recommendations, partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering. In our people-first, inclusive culture, you'll mentor researchers, influence roadmaps, and help shape innovative, data-informed experiences that power the future of automotive.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX research for key automotive digital products
- Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user studies
- Synthesize findings into clear insights, personas, and journey maps
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to inform roadmaps
- Advocate for user-centered design across the organization
- Develop and maintain research frameworks, repositories, and standards
- Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Mentor and guide junior researchers and UX team members
