Human Resources Specialist (Onboarding)

This position will be part of UTA’s onboarding team and will be responsible to:

• Perform background checks and/or reference checks, fingering printing system and courts for new employees and contractors.
• Maintain employee and contractor badges, transit passes including dependent passes and badging system.
• Track new hires and collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HRBP’s when onboarding employees to ensure a positive experience throughout the process.

• Directly support UTA’s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Workday, to ensure data integrity, system security, and operational efficiency.
• Be responsible for the day-to-day HRIS system operations and serve as a technical liaison with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to optimize HR processes.
• Assist with the development and implementation of HRIS procedures in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain and update confidential employee records.
• Perform operational and administrative activities related to onboarding new employees.

This is an on-site position at our Frontlines headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• Two years’ HR related work experience. Work experience in HRIS, ATS or other related software applications. Experience with Workday a plus.
• Associate’s degree or related field required.
• SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

• HRIS, ATS or other related software applications.

• MS-Office proficiency at the intermediate level in Word and Excel, and basic level in MS-PowerPoint.

Pay Range: $25.82 or more, depending on experience
