Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Night and Day Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
The position requires a rotating schedule that begins with several weeks of night shifts, followed by several weeks of day shifts, returning to night shifts in September.
As a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), you will provide essential respiratory care and administer treatment to patients in an acute care setting while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring and evaluating patients' response to therapy and making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
- Educating patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records within the EPIC charting system.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
- Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC.
- Valid state license to practice respiratory therapy.
