Activity Director Amberwood Estates Nursing and Rehabilitation – Join Our Team! We are seeking a dedicated Activity Director to lead and grow our long-term care activity program. This role is perfect for someone passionate about senior care, resident engagement, and creating meaningful experiences that support well-being and quality of life. Activity Director Responsibilities: Conduct resident assessments to identify interests, needs, and appropriate recreational activities Plan and lead daily activities that promote socialization, communication, and overall mental health Encourage and support resident participation in group and individual programs Coordinate activities with volunteers, staff, and community groups while aligning with facility routines Organize events, entertainment, games, crafts, and seasonal celebrations Maintain a warm, welcoming environment through decorations, bulletin boards, and personalized resident spaces Motivate residents to stay active, engaged, and connected within the community Oversee the activity program and provide additional support to residents needing special attention Ensure activity areas are clean, organized, and ready before and after each session Activity Director Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Experience with activities, crafts, or recreation programs Activity Director certification Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Activity Director Benefits: PTO Full benefits package Supportive leadership team A truly rewarding career making a difference every day #J-18808-Ljbffr Amberwood Estates Nursing and Rehabilitation
