PRN Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Overview The Therapy Department at our skilled nursing facility is looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to fill a PRN or part‑time position. As a PTA, you will plan and implement therapeutic interventions designed to help patients achieve their treatment goals, providing exercise instruction, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions. You will communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to keep everyone informed. Responsibilities Implement care and interventions to improve patients’ mobility and physical abilities. Document treatment outcomes and provide exercise instruction. Participate in a team environment and offer empathy and support to patients. Requirements Active state PTA license required. Some skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience required. Ability to work on an as‑needed schedule with no guaranteed hours. Flexible schedule and willingness to work at multiple locations.
