Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and highly motivated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in psychiatry or behavioral medicine. You will work collaboratively with our psychiatrist and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
* Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
* Prescribe medications and monitor treatment efficacy and side effects
* Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and wellness strategies
* Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
* Participate in case consultations and staff meetings

Qualifications:
* Current California PA license and NCCPA certification
* DEA license with schedule II-V prescribing authority (or eligible)
* Experience in psychiatry, or a related field preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to culturally competent, patient-centered care

We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to patient care. While prior experience is preferred, we welcome recent graduates who are certified and eager to learn in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients, taking vital signs and documenting medical history
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during psychiatric and neurological evaluations
Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals as needed
Manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately and securely
Perform administrative tasks including answering phones, managing messages, and processing patient paperwork
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
Ensure patient confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations
Support providers and clinical team with other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required
Experience: Previous experience in a mental health, neurology, or outpatient clinic is preferred but not required
Technical Skills: Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems; basic computer proficiency
Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, organization, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
