About CloudLex

CloudLex is a legal technology and AI company. For more than a decade we have built one connected system for law firms: a cloud platform that runs the firm's cases from start to finish, Lexee AI, which is purpose-built AI that reasons over the firm's own case data, and Managed Services, where our specialists work alongside the firm's team.

The role

We are opening a small number of seats for engineering graduates who want to solve real business problems with technology and AI, face to face with clients. The program is open only to candidates with a STEM degree.

A Solution Engineer works directly with law firms that come to us with a problem. You will be the face of the company and work directly with clients to understand their current systems, their pain points, and their needs. You will put together a CloudLex configuration package as the solution, demonstrate how the package works, and close the loop.

This is not a software development role, and it is not a traditional sales role. It is solution consulting that brings technical skills and selling skills together.

What you will do

• Prepare. Study each firm before the first conversation: its people, its practice, and the systems it uses today.
• Discover. Lead conversations with partners and staff to understand how work moves through the firm and where it stalls.
• Propose. Put together a CloudLex configuration, AI, and Managed Services package that addresses the client's needs.
• Demonstrate. Show the firm its own problems solved, not a list of features.
• Close the loop. Convince your client, then hand the firm over cleanly to the team that handles onboarding.

How you will be trained

You report directly to senior management in Technology and Marketing, who will train you on the platform, its features and modules, and, more importantly, our clients. You will learn how a law firm operates, the full CloudLex system, and how to lead a consulting conversation with senior professionals. You will work with real firms and real clients early.

Who we are looking for

• A STEM Master's degree, completed or in the final year of study, in one of: Industrial and Systems Engineering or Operations Research; Engineering Management or Management of Technology; Information Systems or Information Technology; Data Science or Analytics.
• You use AI every day and have taught yourself well beyond your coursework.
• You are as curious about people and businesses as you are about systems.
• You speak and write clearly, and you are comfortable leading a conversation with a senior professional.
• You want to own an outcome, not a task.
• No legal background and no prior work experience is required.
