Spark a Future: Mentor a NYC High School Student! iMentor is a youth mentoring program working to empower first‑generation college students to graduate high school, succeed in college or other post‑secondary pathways, and achieve their highest ambitions through one‑on‑one mentorships. iMentor supports nearly 3,000 NYC students every year through mentorship; join our community of service‑oriented professionals mentoring the next generation of leaders. We know you’ve got a lot on your plate but here is the good news—mentoring with iMentor takes only 3–4 hours a month. The experience is easy: communicate online once a week and meet once a month (during the school year only). This becomes approximately 6–8 in‑person meet‑ups during the academic year only. Interested in learning more? We’re currently taking a brief pause between January and March from onboarding new mentors to ensure everything is perfectly in place for a successful year ahead. However, we still want to make sure you’re all set to join us this fall for the 2026 volunteer season.
