Spark a Future This Fall: Mentor a NYC High School Student! iMentor is a youth mentoring program working to empower first-generation college students to graduate high school, succeed in college or other post-secondary pathways, and achieve their highest ambitions through one-on-one mentorships. iMentor supports over 3,000 NYC students every year through mentorship; join our community of service-oriented professionals mentoring the next generation of leaders. We know you've got a lot on your plate but here is the good news - mentoring with iMentor takes only 3-4 hours a month. The experience is easy: communicate online once a week and meet once a month (during the school year only). Interested in learning more? We invite you to watch a brief prerecorded info session and take the direct step to sign up for one of iMentor NYC’s many upcoming virtual orientations , which are open to the general public and the first step to become a mentor . Additionally, iMentor only needs 100 more men to say yes to mentoring a high school student this fall. Too many young men in NYC are still waiting for a mentor: someone who looks like them, believes in them, and shows them what’s possible. That’s where you come in.
