Pay Rate

• Salary Range: $32.62 – $40.77 – $48.93/hr (based on years of experience)

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Florida Technologist Supervisory License REQUIRED

• 3+ years of experience as a Medical Technologist REQUIRED

• Associate Degree (2-year) in Science required; Bachelor’s Degree (4-year) in Medical Technology preferred

• ASCP or equivalent certification strongly preferred / very helpful

• Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and foster positive departmental rapport

• Strong understanding of laboratory quality control, regulatory standards (CAP, etc.), and clinical workflows

Responsibilities

• Perform stat and routine laboratory procedures and accurately analyze clinical testing samples

• Execute and document daily quality control (QC) procedures in strict compliance with established protocols

• Prioritize, run, or delegate diagnostic tests aligning with recognized standards of care, staff competencies, and departmental productivity guidelines

• Assist the Laboratory Supervisor and Manager in staff training, competency assessments, and onboarding to maintain regulatory readiness (CAP, COLA, CLIA)

• Provide regular operational updates, turnaround time metrics, and performance feedback to the Laboratory Manager
