Come experience the fun and charm of Atlanta!**About the role**Coordinates all requirements for various conference groups booked by the Sales Department. Responsible for enforcing the terms of sales letter of agreement and guiding meeting planners through the planning process. Communicates the needs and expectations of the client with all departments in the hotel. Ensures successful execution of group and client satisfaction.**Essential Functions:*** Negotiate with clients through the use of creative and attractive menu presentations and event proposals, to achieve both maximum revenue/profit potential and fulfillment of contractual responsibilities while satisfying client needs.* Conduct property tours and entertain planners of meetings, social events, and weddings.* Plan and/or attend and/or participate in meetings with hotel staff and clients, including but not exclusive to: Morning Operations Briefing, Morning CS Briefing, Resume Meeting, Banquet Event Order Meeting, Sales Meeting, Pre-Convention Meetings, Bi-Monthly Board of Operations, Menu Tastings, and Planning Visits.* Coordinate with the Sales Department and Catering to ensure proper utilization of function space to yield maximum revenues.* Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written (Resumes, BEO, Daily Reports) and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event. Ensure accuracy of Banquet Checks and provide bill review on completion of program or event. Prepare a monthly booking report.* Keep applicable parties promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matter so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.* Supervise the execution of banquet events. Review all function space with banquet manager and when required head house attendant. Ensure satisfaction of client at the outset of all events.* Respond according to the crisis management plan to any resort emergency or safety situation.* Make timely and impromptu decisions, which balance client’s needs with the financial, safety and staffing goals of the hotel.* Comply with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and planning committee.* Comply with Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct.* Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.**Minimum Requirements:*** College Education preferred* 2-3 years previous catering and/or banquet assistant manager/captain experience.* Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.* High level of creativity.* Attention to detail.* Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast paced client driven environment.* Ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends and evenings* Delphi Sales and Catering Computer Software, MS Word, Excel, and ability to use e-mail and the Internet.* Basic knowledge of audio-visual equipment and Internet technology – helpful.**What we offer:** • Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package • Excellent Training and Development opportunities • Employee Discount for stays at any Four Seasons worldwide • Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms • Complimentary Employee Meals • Discounted rates for Marta and/or ParkingFour Seasons is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
