Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a client site in Winston-Salem, NC, performing blood collections and specimen processing. Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm schedule. High school diploma and phlebotomy certification or equivalent experience required.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
- Prepare specimens for testing and process billing and payments
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for site travel
