Salary Range: $285,000.00 - $464,474.00

Position Overview

Our organization, in collaboration with the Department of Internal Medicine's Division of Hematology/Oncology at the School of Medicine, is seeking applications from qualified physicians or physician scientists. Candidates should possess training and expertise in medical oncology, with a particular focus on clinical care, clinical and translational research, and clinical trials for patients diagnosed with breast cancer.

The selected candidate will engage in multidisciplinary clinical care for patients and contribute to the design and execution of cancer clinical trials as part of the Multidisciplinary Working Group in Breast Malignancies. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your academic career in Albuquerque, home to the only NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center within a 500-mile radius, situated in a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care for breast cancer patients.
• Engage in clinical and translational research within a nationally recognized academic environment.
• Enroll patients and collaborate on various clinical trials, including investigator-initiated, industry-sponsored, and cooperative group studies.
• Participate in the design and implementation of cancer clinical trials.
• Teach and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in an academic setting.
