This is reflected in our commitment to engage, hire, and retain bright, committed people to work in partnership within an inclusive environment that allows each person to achieve personal success and add value to our teams and communities.We are currently looking for an associate-level Attorney to provide legal advice on corporate, securities and M&A matters in our New York, NY or Minneapolis, MN office.Responsibilities:Working with other firm attorneys to provide legal support to the firm's investment banking and capital markets businessesDrafting, reviewing and negotiating engagement letters, non-disclosure agreements and transaction documentsParticipating in firm committees, such as commitment committee, M&A committee and opinion committeeMonitoring relevant regulatory and legislative changes and requirementsWorking with internal clients on special projects as requestedManaging outside counsel and outside legal expensesAssisting with third-party matters and ancillary litigation mattersRequirements:Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented problem-solvers with high work standards, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills; and a high-level of discretion, maturity and ethical integrity.Candidates should have relevant experience working on both securities and M&A transactions.Candidates must be able to work well both with a team and independently under limited supervision, and must be able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and be flexible to adapt to changing organizational needs.Candidates must be willing to work overtime as workload requires.Large law firm or investment bank experience strongly preferred.Two to four years of experience is generally preferred.Must be licensed in New York or Minnesota, as applicable.As a leading investment bank, we enable growth and success for our clients through deep sector expertise, candid advice and a differentiated, highly productive culture. Placement within this range is dependent upon level of experience, location and other factors. This position is eligible for annual incentive compensation which will be a part of the total compensation.
