As an Access Control Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a professional, secure environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, visitor authorizations, and contractor documentation before permitting entry to controlled areas. Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and access records; issue and collect visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures. Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, exterior areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
