This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
7 PM to 7 AM, rotating weekends and call requirements.
Job Description
The Travel RN will provide high-quality nursing care in the ICU/Stepdown unit. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient condition and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in care planning and provide education to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using Meditech.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in ICU/Stepdown.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Meditech experience preferred.
