Job Description The Maintenance Assistant performs maintenance and construction work around the facility. They maintain the grounds, parking lots and equipment. They perform cleaning tasks as needed in all areas, as well as paint, plaster and inspect equipment to make sure it is properly functioning. Perform carpentry duties as needed. Paint, plaster and refin ish items as needed. Perform heavy-duty cleaning. Change screens and storm windows. Inspect all equipment and systems regularly to ensure proper functioning and safety. Advise Maintenance Director of any repair needs concerning structure, equipment and grounds. Qualifications Ability to work independently Ability to make decisions independently Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions Education: Entry Level (0-2 years) Experience: High School Diploma/GED #J-18808-Ljbffr
