Cyber Software Engineer

Lockheed Martin Space seeks a skilled professional to contribute to cutting‑edge space‑age technologies and solutions. Responsibilities Conduct development services, as well as associated tasks, necessary to adequately design and deploy vulnerabilities and exploits Accompany Government staff to meetings with external partners offering vulnerabilities and exploits to provide initial technical assessment of these items Attend joint development meetings and workshops with cooperating intelligence services and corporate entities Design and execute reliability, security, and other testing and assessment of vulnerabilities and exploits against embedded targets Basic Qualifications Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or related computer security field experience, demonstrated programming proficiency in security‑oriented areas, in‑depth knowledge of embedded, mobile and desktop operating systems, and prior experience leading development teams in a computer security‑oriented environment (e.g., Google Android, Embedded Linux and variant operating systems). Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Information Systems, or other closely related degree. Desired Skills Demonstrated experience with memory management and threading Demonstrated in‑depth experience in tool development and kernel architecture in operating systems such as: Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS and Android Software development experience including design, implementation, testing, analysis and debugging supporting CNO/CNE. Demonstrated experience performing Software Configuration Management Demonstrated experience writing unit tests when developing new software and fixing bugs Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years. Pay Rate California, Massachusetts, New York (main metropolitan areas): $99,000 – $171,580 per annum. Other states: $86,100 – $151,800 per annum. Salary is a general guideline and will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and market factors.
