Express Employment of Joplin, MO is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician for a local growing company!
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain processing equipment
- Inspect, recognize potential problems, and take appropriate action to prevent component failure
- Collaborate within the Maintenance Planner and assist Team Leaders and Machine Operators
- Perform building maintenance and repairs as needed. This includes carpentry, plumbing, and painting
- Work safely and promote a safe work environment
- Weld and fabricate machinery when necessary
- Previous Carpentry, Electrical, and Welding experience is strongly preferred
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous Refrigeration experience is a plus
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and components including chains, sprockets, gears, bushings, bearings, gear boxes, and other moving parts.
