Maintenance Technician

HiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry in Joplin, MO! Pay:
- Night Shift: $29.65/hour - $32.65/hour
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on motors, drives, conveyors, and high-speed production machinery
- Support food safety initiatives including HACCP, GMP, SQF, and sanitation standards
- Maintain and calibrate food safety related instrumentation and product contact surfaces
- Diagnose equipment failures using observation, testing, and precision measurement tools
- Remove, repair, or replace defective components using hand and power tools
- Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools as needed
- Communicate maintenance needs and downtime prevention practices with production teams
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, reports, and work records
- Monitor and manage spare parts, tools, and supplies inventory
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Support continuous improvement efforts and other duties as assigned
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred; extensive on-the-job training provided
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting ability
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Attention to detail with a strong safety mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- English proficiency required
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal screenings
- Employee must supply basic maintenance tools
